Here are a few items concerning abortion which have been festering in my mind the past couple of months.
I’ve been reading a book centered on WWII [The Guernsey Literary and Potato Peel Pie Society-it’s a good one! :) ] and I have found myself asking one question in particular: would I have disobeyed Hitler’s ‘laws’ to help the oppressed-even if it meant I must be sent to a concentration camp? I’m not sure I could call myself so brave! The holocaust of WWII brought 6,000,000 Jews to death, but in today’s holocaust-50,000,000 babies are aborted throughout the world each year. I believe this horror burgeons for a response!
Yes, PRAYER must be the number 1 solution to this; yet, as in WWII, action was necessary to help those who were unjustly afflicted, even though the cost was high to those helpers that were caught. With this said, here is a sermon from Bethany International. I don’t remember everything this guy said because I fell asleep while listening to it, but I thought it was a creative idea if even to save ONE child!

I pray that there would not only be an awakening amongst practitioners, nurses, and mothers; and that the body of Christ would ‘stand on the wall’ and ‘keep watch’ through prayer and intercession; but also that the Lord would burn on the hearts of people of all ages to adopt or fund adoptions of these unwanted babies. In this way, I reckon the ones who are watching us live our lives loving Jesus will see a reflection of what Jesus has done for us. Adopted us. Grafted us in. [more about this in the sermon] The orphans will have a home. And, maybe even the mothers will turn to God and repent, choosing life eternally with their maker.
